Tish is looking through "The Female Gaze" again

Oh hello, Internet friends. It's been a minute.
I took a break from Instagram and a break from churning out *~*CoNtEnT*~* and I'm kinda still in it, but also making plans to come back (See: the end of this newsletter).
I will be on the Internet (in Canada) Thursday, January 27th 7pm - Saturday, January 29th 7pm talking about the film Leading Ladies in my latest "The Female Gaze" screening.

The film is really cool; it's an evening with friends from each character's perspective, as if they're each recounting the evening and their recollections don't exactly match. The whole thing was improvised and it's very engaging and thought-provoking. I invited short filmmaker Rebecca Shoptaw to be my guest for the talk. I've been a fan of her short films for years, and we decided to open the screening with her latest film Girl, Sweetvoiced which also plays with multiple perspectives. Other things to know: both films are #wlw, Leading Ladies is Spanish with English subtitles, and you have 24 hours to finish watching the screening once you start. Actual news:
Juliana and I are going to start doing the Rated F podcast again. The next episode will come out the last Friday of February (and every last Friday of the month after that is the plan). It will be about Titane and the films of 2021. Please subscribe (I just made sure we're listed on all the podcast directories) and listen if you are into film.
Now, I'm going back to my winter semi-hibernation. You won't hear from me again until I have some #content for you and/or I awaken with the Spring thaw.
Hoping we make it through Winter,
Tish 🖤
